What's the point of this topic?
Since points2shop's forums are a great spot for new people to answer small, pointless questions, I felt like creating this topic to reduce the number of topics in the forum.

These threads take up unnecessary space on the forum, and are usually answered within one or two posts.
What do I post? Can I help?
Users who have any serious questions may ask them as a reply to this topic.

Any questions posted here can be answered by a helpful user if they are willing to help out someone in need of assistance.

I saw someone on YouTube playing the racing game on p2s and he was going everywhere on the track. Am I allowed to follow in this guy's footsteps?
Absolutely not a chance. Cheating is unfair to everyone and you WILL receive a permanent ban.

But, I saw someone get a score of 500 on racing and they didn't get banned.
If you saw someone, or suspect someone of cheating, report them by sending a support ticket and they will be dealt with.

That is a ban hammer used to be said in the shoutbox many times when someone broke a rule and deserved a ban. It's not said anymore in the shoutbox though.

There is no trick to winning limbo it's like real life lottery but a whole lot easier. Mods win limbo a lot because they're an intelligent species who have been here longer then most people. Therefore, Limbo is 100% real.

Send a ticket. You won't die from a one hour ban. It might have been an accident like the incident with isk banning herself ^^.

Q: How are offers approved?

A: Offers are approved automatically. There are thousands of requests daily, each offer has a tracking code and offer id in the offer somewhere that helps the system know if you completed the offer correctly. When the advertiser finds your cookie, the offer is approved.

Q: How long does it take to receive credit for an offer?

A: Credit time varies by the advertiser. Some offers credit instantly, some within hours and some even take a few days depending on how fast we can relay information to and from the advertisers. As soon as the system receives confirmation from the advertisers that you have completed the offer correctly, your account will be credited.

Q: Is there a limit to how many sign-ups I can do in a day?

A: No. You may do as many sign-ups as you like, but please remember that you may only do one offer from the same survey company.

Q: Do I have to use the same email for offers?

A: No, you can use any email you like to do offers. It does not have to be the same email you registered with. Q: What can I do if a Paid/Trial offer does not credit?

A: Just email us with the confirmation email you received from an offer/order and we will be able to investigate it and look into the issue. Please wait at least a week before contacting us. We will send these confirmations to the advertiser for investigation. They will investigate why it didn't credit and will let us know if they will manually credit the offer. This decision can depend on many things such as you not clicking on our link, you not clearing the cookies, you providing fraudulent information to the advertiser, duplicate signup and many other possible reasons. Please note that these investigations can take anywhere from several days to several weeks depending on the advertiser. We will try our best to contact the advertisers and asks them to manually credit your account, but we can not guarantee 100% that the offer will be approved plus it is getting harder and harder for members to get non-credit requests approved, even with all the required information All we can do is to submit them and wait for reply. Do not send a trouble ticket for the free offers. We have no way of asking for credit for these offers.

Nice post. I added the topic into the "Commonly asked questions" forum post that is already a stickied topic here in this particular forum section. I don't think we need two for the section and don't want the forum to look sloppy with lots of stickied topics made. (Has happened with other sections in the past).

Great list, read all the way to the bottom and found something along the lines of what I was looking for:

Asked around in the chatbox but nobody could give a definite answer so it would be good to receive a clarified answer from a moderator if not an administrator.

Scenario: This is not yet true, but say for example I ordered some headphones (Dr Dre Studio headphones) through points2shop, from amazon, and they turned out to be fake and I wished to return them, would this be possible? And would a full refund of points be given, providing I returned within 72 hours of receiving?

We couldn't say a for sure yes that you would get a refund. You would have to send in a support ticket to the admin team and explain to them your situation and that you would like a refund. They would get in contact with the seller and see if they could work anything out with them.

Well I am trying to earn more points but it says I can only use 50 points for games until i verified my address. I currently used 100 points for the one dollar to be sent to my house and it still says I have not verified my account. I want to know if my dollar will still arrive to me and why can i not play more games.
