I think playing for merits in games would be a pretty nice idea, on top of the games we already play for points.

Bet merits = win merits, Bet points = win points. I don't think people would like to win merits.

No, then only the people who win at games all the time will win the monthly contests. Merits are for being active and doing a lot on the site, not being good at games. :p

Why would they have to be pre scheduled? It would be the same as the point games now, except it would be merits instead of points.
