Cometing in contests

To compete in a contest, you must first be in a team. This team can either be one that you have joined or created.

To join one, go to 'Compete' on the main bar, then click 'Team Competitions'. If you can find a team that isn't full, you can send the leader an approval message. If the leader approves your request, you are part of that team.

To create a team, go to 'Compete' on the main bar, then click 'Team Competitions'. Then, on the little bar underneath the big word 'Teams', click the one that says 'Create a team'. Then type the name of your team, then click 'submit form'. You have created a team, now all you have to do is to invite others to join your team. Let it be known, though, that if the person you want to join your team is already part of one, they can't join.

To compete, you must 1. earn merits, 2. earn points and cash, and 3. refer new members.

     1. Merits can be earned by completing quests. Quests are completed by completing offers, posting in the forums, referring new members, and winning games. To put these merits into your team, however, you must donate them to your team. After donating merits, you 'lose' those merits, meaning you can't use them again or keep donating. to donate, go to your team and type in the number of points that you want to donate, then click 'Donate'.

     2. Points and cash can be earned by completing offers, which are abundant on Points2Shop. To complete and offer, hover over 'Earn Points' and select which type of offers you would like to do. Then, complete any of the offers. After completion, click 'Mark as Completed' and wait for the offer to approve. After that you will earn the designated amount of points or cash that is stated on the offer.

     3. To refer new members, hover over 'Earn Points' and click 'Refer New Members' under referrals. When you click that, a page that explains how referrals work is brought up. One of the links that you copy is for emails, the second, for forums. Choose the one that is appropriate for your situation, highlight it all, copy it, and paste it where need-be. When people click your referral link and create and new user under that name, you will receive points for it, and also when they complete offers.

There are quite a few teams and you will need to work with your own to earn enough of what you need for the situation.
