For some reason, I get the impression that those who said "harsh" may have misunderstood "touché", and read it not as "two-che", meaning to concede a point, but instead as one syllable, toosh, mistaking it for the word denoting a female hygiene product, and by extension, the slang meaning of an arrogant, obnoxious person.
