I havn't spoken to this about anyone yet, but i've had a genius (to me (much like EVERY idea i have)) idea. Well i only havn't spoken to anyone about this because A. I don't know who to talk to about it, B. im not that well known in the P2S community, and C. i'm technically only new, being a member for only a month, maybe less, and i cant be bothered checking. 
Anyway, my super genius idea... I was thinking... You know how you get Tab/Taskbar alerts when you gain/lose points/merits, etc? The odd times I have been talking to people in the shoutbox, I have had other tabs open Le Book of Face (facebook to normal people) for example, and i have missed the message that i was mentioned in... So I was wondering, would it be a good or bad idea to have a "thing" that alerted you on your tab or task bad as to when you've been mentioned in a comment, like it flashes... Much like the facebook thing, really? Thanks for the time of reading this, it's much apprectiated, along with all the feedback I may or May not get...

This isn't a bad idea. However, the shout-box currently alerts the person (with the yellow box thing) if 3 letters from the persons name are used. If this current system is the way it's going to be people would get allerted every few seconds
Especially some of the names of people here....
so I'm not really sure how it would work =\ |

So how about it only works IF your full name has been "tagged"... For example, when you double click their shoutbox name... That seems more practical? |
