Why cant i validate my account?

When i registered with points2shop,i was told by points2shop will send an email to me in other for me to validate my account and 250points will be given for validating the account. An email was sent to me to validate which i did,but the thing is,there was no 250 points;can someone pls tell me why i was not credited |
