It depends what team you're on =D Like, if you have way less then your teammates then you should probably try to get more merits. |

I would say variable as remember merits can only be used in a TEAM competition so it is not a single effort. You only need as much as it takes to win however you should try to average at least 1-2000 merits per member of your team and also win the weekly contests if your team chooses to enter the monthly. |

2000~ merits for a successful team, but just recruit people with similar amounts, they are more likely to add their merits if they think the team is going to be more successful and only recruit more experienced members if your gonna make your own team |
