So my question is, how do you generate that amount of referrals? any hidden tips that I don't know lol? I have a free sub-domain at weebly and i wonna know how I can promote it in fast and effective ways. I've heard that you can "buy" traffic to your website or something like that not sure but is that any good? or is there any other good ways?

You need to build up several sites and accounts really across the net. Twitter, Youtube, the more followers/subscribers you get the easier you'll find it to pick the odd referral up. You won't match the ones that have got 10k+ referrals because they registered websites with common keywords and are sat at the top of google.

MrKool There is a couple of offers for getting refs. But people do say its not worth it. I have created an ad on Craigslist, made a twitter, shoutout to my friends on facebook and created ads on less popular websites. Out of all of them, craigslist probably is the most popular. Ive only gotten 1 ref from there, but I get consistant impressions from there everyday. Only thing is that you cant post your referal link more than twice or else they will consider it as spam.

It is all from abroad and they are getting rewarded for visting many sites for 10 seconds each, so they have no interest in your site, and even if they would be, most are not from english speaking countirs, its all just mass, rubbish traffic..

It definitely gets annoying seeing other people get referrals. When I first started here, I only got like 10 referrals a month and was jealous of the top referrers at the time but now am up to 2000 a month. What did I do? Like Himpy said, I myself purchased 30+ domain names with a few I sold, created websites with Dreamweaver, brought web hosting, searched up on Google for SEO guides, and asked people on SEO forums for advice on how to rank on Google. All this cost me about $400 for the domains/hosting and hundreds of hours to learn on my own ways to rank on Google and to reflect what others were doing. All this and I've never asked a single user on Points2Shop for any referral help. Every top referrer either spent a good amount of money to earn more money or spend countless hours to promote. One guy I know in the referral contest has about 60-70 domains and another guy promotes on every video, social networking, and writes loads of articles. There's actually the same 8 guys every month in the contest too. Good luck to you getting referrals.
