If you ever receive magazines in the mail that you have never signed up for, it is most likely a third-party site had signed you up to a free subscription without your permission. The company that does this is Publications Unlimited . This is how I was getting in the Maxin Magazines I never signed up for. I had called Maxim and they told me this third party site signed me up to this. They gave me the number to Publications Unlimited (PU) and right away after I had given the woman my information, she knew I was calling to cancel the Maxim. Yes, but some people might not want to be bothered having Magazines in the nature of Maxim or any other related to that being sent to them. 
Also, some will have a hidden agenda. They'll tell you it's free and then try to stick you with a bill to pay for it. So you have to be careful with these. |
