This works, either a credit/debit card/PayPal account needs to be connected to your Xbox live account to get the free month. For the time being Xbox live members in the US should do the Raptr free Xbox live promotion which ends in a couple of days since it gives you two free arcade games. The Raptr Dino Says, Rawr!!! Fear Him.
