Member ursularoxursox started the following cause: The KCHF Animal Shelter (Kankake County Humane Foundation) rescues, cures, and provides shelter for homeless animals. Every year the shelter falls short of their income and expenses. K3 Animal Shelter receives no money from any governmental or national animal agencies, they are supported 100% by generous donors. Donations help provide funding for veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, food and the day-to-day expenses associated with the operations of the Shelter, such as utilities, insurance and payroll for the Shelter staff. They are faced with severely reducing their services when they are gone. They need your help to continue our successful efforts and I hope some of you can help them with this support.  please click here to see the video that the shelter made. This shelter rescued my dog, and that's why the shelter means a lot to me  *The orange kitten in the icon is an adoptable kitten named Buffy. Animal Shelters are one of the greatest things in the entire world. Those who work/volunteer at one are among the most amazing people on this earth. I hope that this shelter prospers and continues to grow. God Bless ya Ursula. I will continue to donate as much as I can to this.

I volunteer at this shelter every week. I can guarantee you that all the volunteers and employees treat all the animals with tender loving care. The animals are in great hands as we all work hard to get them adopted into great homes. Any amount of donation helps a lot

I volunteer at a shelter and its really fun but its also really sad just to see the dogs and cats in not so well shape :c i hope you reach your goal :3 |

Its always best to donate to local organizations or small organizations. As i recently read on some news site (maybe CNN) it was about a larger foundation that would only use around 10% of the donations received, and the other 90% would be kept by employees, and the owners. Smaller organizations like this one are far better to donate to. |
