Heres what i think. (percent of the time, 1% = 1 out of 100)

1 Merit = 45% (50% UK)
5 merits = 10%
10 Merits = 5%
50 Merits = 5%
Lottery ticket = 10%
No prize = 20%
US Sweepstakes = 5% (never atm UK)

Thats what i think it might be, it might just be random, but i don't know
