I do see it as an endurance run for most people wanting to get into the game. To put it more accurately, most people seem to play it like a King of the Hill game- a King of the Hill with numbers, because the same winners usually have their favorite numbers. Each number is like a hill, or control point (for those FPS friendly) and people are hoping no one will take their numbers, right? So the winners are the ones that hold out the longest until everyone else leaves the hill. The people that leave those numbers aren't as persistent and give up quickly. That leaves the last one standing more confident in holding his ground. Most regular winners capture and dominate more than one "hill". Most people give up on taking that hill and leave the winners in control. What discourages other people from playing is that there is no limit to how long they can stay in control. One solution to that is, maybe after winning with one number, they are not allowed to choose that number for a certain amount of time, like after a couple of weeks. And they end up winning several days in a row with different numbers, all those numbers are "used up" for them and they'll have to find a new set of numbers to play, keeping the game from getting stale. It's a little like "moving" the hills around at the end of each game, so it gets harder for the winners to keep winning.

Anything to change Limbo so the same winners aren't winning and it's unpredictable again would be worth it.

But I think that, instead of just saying "You can't play the number you won with, today." it should be taken a step or two further: Nobody should be able to play the winning numbers for a week, and the winners should have a cooldown period of two or three days, to give other people the opportunity to win. Downfall of that though is members would be playing less if they couldn't play to win and then there is a lower jackpot. Maybe it wouldn't be too big of a decrease though. Having some changes in the Limbo as extreme as these might actually bring in more players than we're seeing now because they would feel like they have a bigger chance at winning than they do now.

It's a great proposition which I think will bring many new players and winners to the scene.

I hope it's still trying to be resolved. I don't play limbo as much as I want to because of this issue. It's ridiculous to see how many points some of these guys are banking on us, some of them making anywhere from $25-50 in points a week, if not more!

I think it's a kinda a good idea actually. Downfall of that though is members would be playing less if they couldn't play to win and then there is a lower jackpot. Maybe it wouldn't be too big of a decrease though. I'd like to hear an update from this thread, that was 6 months ago. I hope it's still trying to be resolved.

I don't play limbo as much as I want to because of this issue. It's ridiculous to see how many points some of these guys are banking on us, some of them making anywhere from $25-50 in points a week, if not more!
