For those people like myself who have needed some spare controllers for when friends come round have probably looked at this item: Name: Twin Pack Wired 8 Button Analogue Controller Gamepad Set for PS3 PlayStation 3 http://www.points2shop.com/amazon/product/B002X31312 (Image below) 
The reason why these controllers are very cheap are for the fact the DO NOT register onto your PlayStation 3 UNLESS you have CFW below 3.50 which for many don't. These controllers are noted across the web as "Dead" due to them not registering with the PS3 system due to Sony putting in a Firmware to stop unofficial controllers. This is a heads up for everyone aiming/wanting these. I currently lost 2400 points from these controllers - a good weeks earnings gone to waste. Please take note on this and look into your products in further detail as this took me alot of time to figure out why they were not working this morning when i received them. |
