Yes! All copyright materials will be removed/blocked and any person that is caught SHARING or UPLOADING (posting a link to video, music or anything that's similar is consider sharing) can be consider a felon "The bill would make unauthorized streaming of copyrighted content a felony" Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act "It is an amendment to US Code Title 18 Section 2319, that would make unauthorized streaming of copyrighted material for the purpose of "commercial advantage or personal financial gain", a felony." If it contains a song, image, or anything that is redeem a copyrighted material, it will be removed/blocked and the person that can be sentenced up to 5 years in jail This doesn't only affect the U.S., it also affects everyone that is outside of the U.S., such as Canada, UK and so on (Watch the longer version of the video which explains how people outside of the U.S. will be affected) Petition Here http://americancensorship.org/ Call your representative and tell them to STOP SOPA. This is a sad reality, however it was bound to happen sooner or later. I doubt though that they will take legal action against those on youtube for example whom are making slideshows and stuff for their own personal use such as slideshows of friends & Family, vacations etc. I think they just want to stop the people who are using copyright material for a monetary gain. |

the congress is being the stupidest people ever. they always were. they think that this will stop people. itll just make things worse. they are STUPID. hard headed dumbaholes. i swear. ive known about this since it started. it ticks me off everytime is see something more about it. More people should become aware of this bill and help put a stop to it. I really dont want to delete my vids but its probably better to be safe then sorry. |
