X-BOX 360 or PS3 ?

There seems to be a little misunderstanding about the ps3

You CAN play dvds on a ps3, and you can also plug in your ipod, flashdrive or external harddrive to run media off an external source.you don't have to buy blueray discs, but the option is there if wanted..

As for the controller - The only issue I have with the xbox over the ps3 is that the xbox controller is a little too over-cumbersome and I can't play for long periods of time else my hands start to ache because it's slightly on the chunky side.

And then there's the Rrod which is Always a common worry with xbox. ps3 fails a lot less often and has few updates. I find I get a little annoyed having to update my xbox all the time

as for games like CoD, I have played them on both platforms and while I DO prefer playing them on ps3 (because of the controller size and button configuration) I don't see much of an issue when playing on the xbox.

Yes, psn went down for 2 months, but we got free games in compensation. Xbox HAS crashed a lot more than psn has, but it's less memorable because when it does go down, it's rectified easier.

I think the choice of ps3 or xbox ultimately boils down to what games you're wanting to play and your preferred controller type. Online gameplay is smooth on both consoles, and yes, you pay for xbox live, but then you can get it free here. I think you should just take a look at the exclusives list and decide which is better for you.

Xbox has halo, fable, N3 etc, ps3 has Disgaea, and rpg exclusives, as well as full downloads for previous games. lacrimosaangel
