hi guys, this is not a dig at S2P or admin,i guess rules are rules, but anyway to cut along story short,i was on a torrent site lookig at minecraft when someone commented tou can get it free at points2shop,a few other comments were like no you cant and its a scam the site scams every1,so i came to look and used a dummy account to check,i didnt want to sign up to a site with real details incase it was a a scam, anyway i figured out it wasnt and decided to sign up with my real details and have never use the dummy account since, but admin wanted to know the link between me and the dummy account so i was honest and explained it to them,i have never used the dummy account and didnt know you were only allowed 1 account untill i signed up with my real details and read the terms and conditions,i like this site and dont mind being punished,ie have the dummy account closed and having the 2k points on this account taken away as punishment, but i dont want to spend the next 4 or 5 days doing surveys ect just to be told in 4 or 5 days the accounts pema banned and waste those days doing surveys for nothing, the dummy account has never been used and wasnt ment to cheat or scam in anyway, well i guess what im asking is,is it worth continuing doing surveys in the hope they see it was a genuine error on my part and i never ment any harm or just give up now,i dont mind being punished but to ban, take all points and never get back is a little extreme for a silly mistake, should i just give up now ???? ... no dissrespect to P2S i know the rules are there for a reason and im not challenging yous,i just dont know if i should continue with the surveys :( i dont want to waste my time just to find out im banned at the end of it,well thanks for reading and sorry for going on and on lol

( okay they havent banned me yet,im looking at the worse case scenario ) as i said no dissrespect to P2S there just doing there job and i respect that and all admin/mods

Okay here's the thing -

You've just told us ALL that you have 2 accounts here, and that one of them contains fake information. If you completed offers on this other account, using the fake information - this is fraud.
Creating 2 accounts is also considered fraud, or rather, defrauding a company for monetary gains or goods in lieu of payment. This is stipulated in the terms and conditions, to which you were required to read upon creating your account. You also agreed to these terms and conditions by ticking the "I agree to these terms and conditions" box.

You will probably find that upon placing an order, or even before this, you will have account issues and find yourself unable to earn or request payout.

Your only feasible option now is to send a ticket to the admin team (points2shop.com/tickets/index) and explain what happened and why. You will likely be asked to confirm your identity. The admin will then decide whether or not your account will be unlocked again.

Under NO circumstance should you create an additional account OR continue to use false information on offers. This will only make things worse.

People use wrong info a lot when they're starting out so its something the admin see a lot of - It can likely be sorted out however :)

Unfortunately my friend did the same and his 'dummy' account was closed and they fined him $6 from his real account. so thats roughly 60 daily surveys it took to get back out of debt. somehow it took him 2months to do and now he has enough points to get sennheiser CX500 earphones. my advice is listen to the moderator's advice and it will all work out.

They don't "fine" you, they remove any fraudulent earnings gained from using incorrect information as the advertisers do not pay to those who breach the rules of the site. Sadly, this is quite a common occurrence.

dipal, no there isn't a warning, but it IS in the terms and conditions, as well as a box saying "I agree to the t&c;"
The admin cannot block the ip so that only one account can be created on an ip as that would restrict some members from legitimately signing up as there is a high occurrence of "recycled" ip, where an isp will re-allocate an old ip address to a new connection - which, if used previously on the site, would be blocked even though the potential member AND the address will be completely different, thus that potential member would be instantly blocked and unable to sign up to the site - p2s could lose a lot of members that way.
