Add a Mute Button to the Shoutbox!

I personally don't like the shoutbox over people who are sarcastic or rude. If I get my Goal and want to announce it on shoutbox I don't want to be yelled at by rude people. I want some good jobs but no. I almost always get rude comments like. "So What" or "Good For You!! (Sarcastically). But seriously please Points2Shop I would like you to make a mute button. |

How do u know its being sarcastic, i say good job to people all the time in the shout and im not sarcastic about it... |

I've seen the mute button suggested a few times now. Not once have I agreed with the suggestion. Like chevy mentioned, you could just be taking what they're saying the wrong way. It isn't that big a deal to have a mute button to mute someone from the Shoutbox. Like I've mentioned before, just because you mute them doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't see your Shoutbox posts as well. This would be confusing and probably cause some problems. If someone is bothering you in the Shoutbox or you find something bothersome, simply ignore what they said and don't respond to them. If it's too frustrating for you, close the Shoutbox and come back later when you've cooled off or when they're not in the Shoutbox anymore.

I would like this but not nearly for the same reason. I think it would be a good addition to mute the Shoutbox simply to concentrate on offers instead of talking. Hope it get's added (as you can see it serves multiple purposes). |
