I've had a few crushes, loved one person but only been IN love with one person, and funnily enough, it wasn't the guy I married ¬_¬ Everyone is different of course, but you'll know when it happens. You'll spend every second of every person thinking about them and can't imagine your life without them in it. of course, I'm being overly soppy can't help it

Ill give my personal point of view if it helps so Im not saying it is besides in my thoughts From what I have personally been through a crush to me is somebody who I have no real emotional connection with. My crushes were based on looks of course (like lust) or when Im genuinely being complimented and treated right. I couldnt help it x) But off of that, there was nothing else... I can say for now at least I have only truly loved one person and when I was with him I could stand any problem or argument we went through because at the end of it all, there was both of us to get through it. There was no one I or he held that strong bond with. I dont think anyone can understand you as much as the person you love. Being in love youre always putting that person first before yourself and thinking about them constantly! and i dont mean thinking about those eyes or lips ( well ... 100% of the time ) like its REALLY all you ever think about. More so it is your conversations held, those special moments and you couldnt imagine being with anyone else, no one could do! For these reasons I dont believe in love at first sight. You grow to love that person over time and that takes time getting to know them. If you cant stand some of the little things they do or stay angry over the little things, easy sign youre not in love. Loving someone is trusting them just as much, with anything and everything. No one should ever think you can only love one person and then the that it if its over for you as well lol theres no such thing as one love.. but there is your first love. No point in rushing love, its patience, whether you only needed to go through one person that took 5 years for you to realize it or 100 people when you finally realize that last person is one one to keep. Love is effortless, theres nothing you have to force or that person has to force on you to make them like him/her, it will just become so take all the time needed dont let that someone or YOU rush it Thats what loving someone is -- to me.
