If you are using Chrome or Firefox you can install a userscript, located at http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24102 which removes the google direct url on search pages. This means you can copy the link directly from the google search page for each search result, this could save you a lot of time on the task, and I am pretty sure that it is not breaking any rules.
