Its not just london - Manchester, birmingham, liverpool, bristol - it's moving further down south too - riot police on high alert - the squads starting moving into southampton city center this afternoon, tightening control on the docks The whole Country is going up in smoke and the police have their hands tied by the very laws they are trying to enforce. I doubt that the rioters even know WHY they started, just using the shooting as an excuse and a catalyst. And what of our government? They've only JUST left their holidays and are calling parliament on THURSDAY! by then the riots will be at 6 days in - Far too long! I hope that ALL our members across the country, but particularly those in London are safe. Keep indoors guys - stay safe!!!!! |

Well, I'm all prepared. I don't know about you, but when Johnny Rioter comes a'knocking, I'll give the blighter what for with my cricket bat. That'll show him. All those mobile telephone shops smashed and looted, televisions carried off down the street in a shopping trolley, yet all those lovely old book stores are untouched, by both idle hand and flame. If only these ruddy rioters would sit down and read a Biggles book or two. That'll set them straight. |
