I think I was really lucky, and who knows, you might be too. Also, if you ordered a ps3 slim used, chances are that it'll last for sure. If you're talking about the older, fatter ps3, then yeah, it's a big risk.

Everything was in a great condition, not a scuff on anything and looked like nothing had ever been unwrapped.
