We get a lot of questions like this about the honourlevels.
The reason we have honourlevels has nothing to do with better or more valuable members, or with if it is fair or now.
The reason we have them is this:

We needed some 'groups' of members with all the same characteristics.

1. For trials we officially have to put the offer on hold for at least 2 months to be sure members don't use fake creditcards. We don't really like the idea to put on hold ALL trials for ALL members, so we made a gold honourlevel with members that completed an offer at least 2 months ago so we received information from the advertisers about the completed offers of these members and know we can safely payout the trials. That is why we have the Gold honourlevel.

2. When we need a new moderator or administrator we need members that know how to complete offers and did at least a few, members also need to know how to make referrals and they have to be on the site for a specific period. An allround member who knows a lot about everything. What members qualify for this? Yes, the platinum members. And as an extra bonus we give away 250 points to promote people to go to a higher level.

3. We've always had the 250 point bonus for phoneverification (just some extra verification) but because we had the platinum and goldlevels already we build this one in as an extra level, bronze.

4. We have some exclusive offers on points2shop, the manual offers. These offers are a little bit more difficult to do for new members and we want to keep the quality of this offers high, so we made a silver honourlevel for members that at least completed some offers correctly. These members have more experience and therefor get access to these exclusive manual offers.

This are the reasons we had the levels in the first place, we use them for a lot more things right now.
But this doesn't mean that people who never reach platinum are no valuable members.
We cannot add games to to the honourlevels because is not something we earn money on, it is just an extra. It has no value for us to let people play 10 games before they can do manual exclusive offers or before they can get their locked offers unlocked. That is why we have the quests. People can choose to focus on games, or earning points or referrals if they want. And create an allround team, so everybody can work together to gather merits, each on his/her own way.

I hope you understand now why we can't add games to honourlevels or remove completing offers out of the honourlevels, or remove the 2 months of wait..
They all have a reason. I hope you all understand a little bit more about it now.

Nowhere near 50% of the people verify their phone. Even if they do offers they rarely verify their phone.

Navy, I was not implying that you were stupid because you were a girl I was simply saying that I couldn't explain it any clearer and maybe your husband could help you. If you were a male and I knew you were married I'd have said wife. Hopefully that clears up that misinterpretation?

I do agree that getting referrals is really tough, but platinum should stay as it is. Navy has already brought up enough good points as to why. I know I have personally whined about not being able to get referrals in the past, but you know what? I finally managed to get enough to get platinum finally. It's hard, yes, but that is the point! Platinum is a privilege, not something to be handed out to everyone for doing the most minimal of things.

Really? Your post seems to be helping me more than hurting me. I mean if you struggled to get 10, and I get more than 10 a day... I've decided I don't deserve platinum because it's showing who can help with offers, but your point only helps my case...

Hmmm... I would have to agree with navymarinemom.

Yeah, getting referrals is tough. But if you can just at least DO some offers at a time, take a step at a time, you may eventually reach platinum. But if you don't want to do offers, just getting referrals, then it would be considered laziness in your part. =P Getting referrals is just simply linking people to sign up. But for us, we use our times to reach the platinum level when you don't necessarily need to. I think the honour level is fair.

i'm having trouble with referrals...how long does it take to get platinum
